Christopher W. Delehanty, PT
Principal / Clinical Director
Chris has been the owner and director of Physiofitness Physical Therapy since 1996 and has over 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedic and sports therapy. Certified in Full Body Active Release Techniques® which includes both Lower and Upper extremities as well as the Spine, Chris' specialty is in advanced manual therapy. Areas of expertise include shoulder rehabilitation, hand trauma, post-surgical knee & hip rehabilitation, as well as acute cervical/lumbar/sacral dysfunction. Chris began his career at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where he rotated through many specialties, rose to senior staff therapist and was an award-winning lecturer. After Columbia, Chris was recruited as the Director of Physical Therapy Services at Queens Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Flushing, New York before assuming his current role at Physiofitness. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1991. Chris is an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and American Diabetes Association. In his spare time he enjoys competing in triathlons and surfing in Montauk. |

Corinne Croce, DPT
Corinne is a manual based therapist with an extensive exercise background. She specializes in treating various musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory and neurological ailments. Corinne's exercise knowledge allows her to build programs for all types of injuries, from the most basic general conditioning to those geared toward higher-level sport-specific athletes. Corinne is certified in Full Body Active Release Techniques® for both Lower and Upper extremities as well as the Spine, and also has certification in Long Tract Nerve Entrapment. She is currently enhancing her ART® training through the Master's course. Most recently, Corinne received her certification in Graston Technique®, a soft tissue mobilization procedure used to treat repetitive stress diagnoses. She is also trained in Power Pilates mat instruction. Corinne joined Physiofitness after receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from NYU Graduate Steinhardt School. She received her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 2004. Corinne is constantly enhancing her own abilities and expertise in endurance, strength, core stability, plyometrics and kettleball training to keep exercise exciting, dynamic and fun. She is passionate about her own personal health and motivating others to value physical activity and nutritious living. Corinne prides herself in delivering exceptional one-on-one care and is driven to providing her patients with the best guidance to help them reach their fullest potential. |

Christine Clapper, DPT
Christine is the newest addition to the Physiofitness team, following her relocation to New York City from Pennsylvania, where she practiced for the last six years. Christine's treatment experience combines knowledge in trigger-point release, strength training, core stability and postural re-education to return patients to their maximum functionality. Also certified in Active Release Techniques® for the Lower Extremities, Christine's excellent hands-on care and focus on the individual needs of our patients perfectly reflects the mission of our team. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2004, and her Bachelor's Degree from Beaver College in 2001, where she majored in Health Administration and minored in Pre-Physical Therapy and Business Administration. Christine's is passionate about outdoor sports and has competed in 2 marathons and is currently training for her first triathlon. |

Scott Adler, DPT
Scott brings his many years of experience in providing healing and rehabilitative care, most recently leaving Columbia Presbyterian Hospital to join us at Physiofitness. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, he received a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute of Allied Health Services. Scott practiced as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Manhattan for more than 15 years. Scott's quest to deliver comprehensive healing modalities led him to pursue his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Hunter College where he was awarded the Certificate for Academic Achievement for outstanding achievements in the PT program. Scott went on to Stonybrook University to complete his Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy and was singularly recognized by the school's faculty with its Excellence in Physical Therapy Award. Scott's interest in holistic treatments brought him to study in the rain forest of Belize where he trained with Dr. Rosita Arvigo, an accomplished practitioner renown for her Mayan bodywork techniques and research on the medicinal properties of plants in the rain forest. Scott's continuing education studies in Physical Therapy include Institute of Physical Arts Back Education Training, Advanced Exercise and Interventions, and a Certification in Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT). Scott believes that every individual body, in its uniqueness, requires individualized treatment and he draws on the tools he's acquired over a lifetime of learning to ensure optimal results. |

Dmitri Gorbounov
Personal Trainer and Physical Therapy Aide
Dmitri is an exercise specialist and has a reputation for producing extraordinary results for his clientele. His athletic background in swimming, cycling, skiing and boxing influence the development of all his training programs. His experience in bodybuilding, speed training and strength development are routinely incorporated into his exercise plans. Dmitri is in charge of the after-care program at Physiofitness where he trains patients to achieve healthy workout habits after they have been discharged from therapy. Trained in TRX® Suspension Training, he develops programs for patients to build strength, balance, flexibility and burn fat. |

Tove Langdridge
Personal Trainer and Physical Therapy Aide
Tove is an AFA certified personal trainer with extensive experience in core stability and strength training. With a focus on developing an overall healthy lifestyle, Tove works with each client to design individual specific workout routines. He works with patients recovering from physical injury by developing short and long term exercise programs to rehabilitate and strengthen the body to help prevent future injury.
An artist on his down time and an Australian who has spent his life around the water, Tove is a certified scuba diver, Surf Life Saver and water skier. As much as he pushes a healthy, strong body, he understands the need to enjoy exercise in order to be able to make it a part of daily routine. |

Kip Yates
Massage Therapist and Physical Therapy Aide
As part of Physiofitness' complimentary treatment services, Kip provides multi-dimensional Swedish massage therapy and eastern Shiatsu acupressure to our patients, to balance the body, mind and spirit and promote holistic wellness. He also assists with exercise treatment plans, stretching and massage therapy. Kip graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City with his Associate of Occupational Studies Degree and has volunteered his skills in the New York City Triathlon and the Incarnation Children's Center. |

Abby Stowe
Pilates Instructor
Since 2009, Abby has been providing personalized, one-on-one instruction in the authentic Pilates method to clients at Physiofitness. Teaching for the past 5 years, she has built a strong following in the downtown area. Her certification is with the internationally accredited Romana's Pilates method. Individualized instruction includes exercises on the Reformer, Mat, Cadillac and Chairs. Abby's strong belief in maintaining a healthy lifestyle flow through to her practice. In addition to Pilates, she incorporates spinning, yoga and running into her own fitness routine and encourages clients to cross-train as well. |

Sam Adams
Certified Advanced Rolfer™
Sam is a Certified Advanced Rolfer and has been practicing Rolfing® for the past 20 years in New York City, Baltimore and Europe. He has been an affiliate of the New York Hospital's Rehabilitation Department and been licensed as a LMT in New York State for the past 28 years. Rolfing is a specialized process of hands-on physical manipulation that is combined with an active stretching performed by the patient. This effective combination of the two modalities progressively stretches and elongates the soft connective tissue, or myofascia, that surrounds the muscles throughout the entire body. This holistic effect enhances posture, improves range of movement and balance, relieves tense muscles, and increases a person's general feeling of well being. Rolfing helps people stand taller, move easier, reduce pain and feel energized. |

Frances Rosario-Puleo
Front Desk Manager and New Patient Coordinator
Frances joined Physiofitness in 2010, to support our growing patient population. Frances is responsible for all front-desk services, including insurance verification, greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Frances earned her Bachelor's and Masters Degrees in Physical Education and Dance from Brigham Young University, and recently earned her Certified Billing and Coding Specialist designation. Frances brings a wealth of experience from a variety of professional services industries to the Physiofitness team. In her free time, Frances dances and performs with the Nancy Meehan Dance Company. |

Fran Levine
Billing Manager
Fran joined Physiofitness in 2008 and brought with her more than 15 years of experience in billing and collections for both physical therapy and chiropractic services. Prior to Physiofitness, Fran served as the billing manager for a private internal and alternative medicine practice. She received her National Certification in Medical Billing and Coding in 1995. Fran lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Charlie, and her family which includes their two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and listening to oldies music. |

Lauren Hopkins
Administrative Assistant
Lauren joined the Physiofitness team in 2008 and is one of the bright, cheerful voices that answers the phones and greets patients. Lauren has years of administrative experience and prior to coming to Physiofitness worked at an off-broadway theater, audio visual company as well as a medical rehabilitation center. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in History at Columbia University. In her free time she likes to travel abroad and attend live theatrical performances. |

Dina Badami Delehanty
Business Manager
Dina joined Physiofitness in 2002 as Business Manager and is responsible for the fiscal management of the practice. She oversees all operations and is responsible for policy development and compliance, human resources, financial management and marketing for Physiofitness. Prior to Physiofitness, Dina spent the last 20 years in marketing and advertising. In her free time, she practices Pilates and is an avid runner who competes in half marathons. |
