Meet The Staff
 
Chris Delehanty Christopher W. Delehanty, PT
Chris is the owner and director of Physiofitness Physical Therapy and received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Chris has 19 years of clinical experience in orthopedic and sports therapy and has practiced in a variety of settings. Certified in Active Release Techniques® and specializing in advanced manual therapy, his areas of expertise include shoulder rehabilitation, hand trauma, post-surgical knee & hip rehabilitation, as well as acute cervical/lumbar/sacral dysfunction.

Chris began his career at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where he rotated through many specialties, rose to senior staff therapist and was an award-winning lecturer. After Columbia, Chris was recruited as the Director of Physical Therapy Services at Queens Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Flushing, New York, before assuming his current role at Physiofitness. Chris is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Vinita Chandra, MSPT Vinita Chandra, MSPT
Vinita uses a manual based approach for treating various musculoskeletal, rheumatologic and neurological ailments. Her knowledge of acupressure, trigger point release, muscle release therapy, postural realignment and yogic exercise programs help decrease pain and increase function for her patients. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Canada's McMaster University and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Canada's Queen's University, she has over six years experience working in rehabilitation environments.
Paul Ochoa Paul Ochoa, LMT
Paul received his degree in massage therapy from the Swedish Institute of New York. Trained in myofascial, deep tissue, pregnancy massage, orthobionomy and visceral manipulation, Paul uses these techniques to create specific treatment plans for each patient. Paul is also the Massage Coordinator for the New York Road Runners club and the New York City Marathon and frequently lectures to athletes on how to incorporate massage into their training. Paul is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Samantha Danesi Samantha Danesi, LMT
Sam received her degree in massage therapy from the Swedish Institute of New York. She specializes in myofascial, deep tissue, pregnancy massage and trigger point therapy. Sam is also a certified personal trainer and incorporates flexibility training and stretching into her sessions to assist patients with developing full range of motion.
